Wesley K. Jones, EsquireShareholder
Wesley was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. He attended Jesuit High School (Class of '03). He obtained his B.A. in Finance, cum laude, from the University of Florida, where he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. Mr. Jones earned his law degree from Stetson University College of Law and was a member of Stetson Law Review.
Mr. Jones has over 11 years of experience counseling homeowners’ associations and condominium associations throughout Florida. His general counsel practice focuses on assisting board members and community managers with corporate operations, including enforcement of deed restrictions, drafting amendments and rules and regulations, condominium terminations, interpretation of association documents, preservation and revitalization of association documents, delinquent assessment collection, foreclosure litigation, attending elections and other association meetings, negotiating contracts, surplus claims, mortgage foreclosures, insurance coverage, insurance claims, property damage claims, and construction defect claims. Mr. Jones also assists developers with the formation of community associations and drafting governing documents. Mr. Jones and his law partners regularly host board certification courses for association board members, committee members, and property managers. He is also an active member of the Condominium & Planned Development Committee of The Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar.
In addition to serving as general counsel for community associations, Wesley represents real estate investors in real estate transactions, real estate litigation, real estate development, community development districts, CDD bonds, title disputes, contract disputes, tax deed litigation, and quiet title litigation.
Mr. Jones has been selected by Florida Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. He was also recognized as Florida’s "Up & Coming Legal Elite" by Florida Trend magazine in 2017 and 2019.
