Charles’ practice consists of the representation of over one hundred community associations in a general counsel role and as a registered agent, handling just about every issue that can come up in the community association context. Charles represents community associations in the areas of administrative complaints, corporate governance, vendor terms and association contracts, the drafting and amendment of governing documents, collection and enforcement, and the education of association directors, members, and managers. Charles also has expansive litigation experience in complex real estate, contracts, collections, construction disputes, and appeals, among other areas of the law.
Charles graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2006. Prior to attending law school, Charles graduated from Emory University in 2002, where he received degrees in both Finance and Economics. At Emory, Charles was a graduate with highest distinction, and was also a Dean’s scholar and recipient of multiple scholarships. Charles is one of the founding members of Glausier Knight. He has been voted a “Rising Star” in Business Litigation by Super Lawyers Magazine each of the past seven years.
